Jim Eliuk has been a Registered Psychologist since 1987, after completing his Masters’ degree in Counselling Psychology in 1986. Over the past 34 years, he has worked in Mental Health settings, in rehabilitation settings as well as in private practice. He has also supervised graduate students at the U. of A. on their path toward becoming Registered Psychologists.
He has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (Level I & II), hypnosis and Hakomi, a body-based therapy. He has expertise in PTSD, management of chronic pain and stress, depression, anxiety and relationship concerns. He is available for in-person as well as online counselling sessions.
