I am a Registered Psychologist who is passionate about working with adolescents and adults (including Canadian Armed Forces members and family members) to improve their emotional functioning, sense of well-being, and self-understanding. I completed my graduate training in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta, with a specialized placement at the Cross Cancer Institute. My professional training and work in cancer care, intensive care, rural medicine, inpatient mental health, and hospital settings have importantly shaped how I understand and support people.
I work regularly with people who find they are at a tipping-point or crossroads of some kind. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, dealing with uncertainty about the future, hope to safely process past experiences that shaped you, or want to feel less impacted by painful memories, it is possible to experience improvement, relief, clarity, and confidence. In our sessions together, you will notice that I am genuine, listen carefully, and value the therapeutic relationship that we build. Those who thrive in our work together tend to be curious about themselves and their experiences, and open to self-exploration.
I will approach our work together with compassion, care, and skill. If you think we could be a fit, please reach out!
